Mr. Maniero is a lawyer and supports our clients as an external data protection officer and data protection auditor. He is one of the three shareholders and authorized signatory at the German Society for Data Protection.
Mr. Maniero studied law and economics at the universities of Munich, Hamburg, Yerevan, Bologna and Haifa. During his university career, he earned a bachelor’s and several master’s degrees. During his studies, Mr. Maniero developed a special interest in intellectual property, commercial legal protection and IT law. His areas of specialization are software law and data protection law.
Mr. Maniero is an honorary professor at the Academy of TV and Radio Journalism.
Mr. Maniero began his professional career in 1995 at a service company in the IT sector. As a result, he was a partner in several companies. Among other things, he founded a company that traded in used software. After selling his last company, he initially concentrated entirely on his law studies.
He also worked for a law firm in Germany and was legal counsel for two used software dealers and Notebook12 GmbH & Co. KG. In addition, he has already looked after several large corporations as an external data protection officer in the past.
